BACILLUS SUBTILIS PROBIOTIC SUPPORTING GUT HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE

Stress factors lead to reduced performance and health problems
Poultry are frequently exposed to stress factors such as feed composition and pathogens, which disrupt gut health by disturbing the balance of microbiota. This leads to reduced performance and increases susceptibility to health problems.

A unique bacillus subtilis-based probiotic for optimal performance and gut health
Alterion® is composed of a unique strain of Bacillus subtilis, a naturally occurring microorganism fixed on a carbonate support (CaCO₃). The product is a brown, free-flowing powder and is classified as a direct-fed microbial (DFM). It promotes optimal animal performance, even under challenging  conditions, while offering protection against future intestinal issues.

Regulating inflammation and strengthening the intestinal barrier
Alterion® positively influences the gut microbiota by producing metabolites that foster an environment beneficial for bacterial communication. It helps regulate the inflammatory response and strengthens the intestinal barrier, promoting overall gut health.

Alterion® comes in different forms:

    Dose: 10 g per tonne of feed to achieve a concentration of 10⁸ CFU/kg in the feed
  • Alterion® NE-B 50
    Dose: 500 g per tonne of feed to achieve a concentration of 10⁸ CFU/kg in the feed
