Enhancing feed digestibility and nutrient absorption with synergistic enzyme action
Rovabio® Excel enhances nutrient availability and reduces the negative impact of antinutritional factors by improving feed digestibility. Its unique combination of xylanases, β-glucanases, and cellulases, along with other essential enzyme activities, work synergistically to break down a wide range of indigestible compounds in feed. This leads to improved nutrient absorption and overall feed efficiency.
Mode of action
Rovabio® Excel improves the digestibility of feed by enhancing the breakdown of non-starch polysaccharides (NSP) in animal diets. NSP hydrolysis breaks down cell walls, which reduces intestinal viscosity, a factor that can limit nutrient absorption. This process allows animals to access a greater proportion of the nutrients present in the feed, leading to more efficient digestion.
The product demonstrates consistent efficacy by facilitating easier access for endogenous enzymes like amylases, proteases, and lipases, which break down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. This comprehensive enzyme profile allows for effective nutrient utilisation across different feed formulations, ensuring animals can better absorb essential nutrients, regardless of the feed type.
Rovabio® Excel reduces ammonia emissions by improving feed digestibility and nutrient absorption, which leads to less nitrogen excretion.
